Here at Cariboo Soap Works, we make cold process soap in small batches to ensure our soaps are top quality. In our cold process soaps, we use many different kinds of base oils (olive oil, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, …), butters (mango butter, cocoa butter, Shea butter, …), certified pure essential oils, as well as fragrance oils.
All products are quality control tested before being sold. Our products are never tested on animals.
Note regarding palm oil...
We only use responsibly sourced sustainable palm oil in our soaps. For those that choose not to use palm oil, we offer palm-free soap options as well.
Without lye, there is no soap...
All soaps are made with sodium hydroxide (lye). This is the chemical used to turn oils and liquids into soap. Without lye, soap cannot be made. Once the soap has cured for 4-6 weeks, lye is no longer present in the soap. You can rest assured that there is no chemical lye in the finished product.
We would love to hear from you!! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to message us on the “contact” page. Cheers!
